Enjoy Your Life! Build Your Business! Have Your Way!

Welcome To Sophia, The New Indie Assistant!

This is a banner week for Indie! Remember I told you aboutembracing change? Well, I’m doing a lot of that this week. First off, I’m signing a lease for our first out-of-home office space since I started Indie Business in 2000. But even more exciting than that, I’ve just hired Indie’s first official in-office assistant. Meet Sophia President!

Originally from Oakland, Ca, Sophia has lived in Charlotte, NC, all of her adult life. I met her last year at Indie Business Breakfast Charlotte (FaceBook Photo Gallery), and was impressed with her kind spirit and eagerness to learn. Just look at that smile! We’ve remained in touch, and the time is perfectly right for Sophia to join the Indie Team!

Sophia is a wife and mom who loves crafting — especially making and telling others about Indie mineral makeup, hair products and bath and body goodies. (Does she sound like the perfect fit or what?) Sophia also enjoys leading women’s spiritual study groups. Darryl, my business partner husband, and I are excited to welcome Sophia, and hope you will welcome her too!

Please follow Sophia on Twitter, so you can stay up to date on Indie news and updates. Also, if you cannot get in touch with me for any reason, please contact Sophia, either on Twitter or via email at Sophia [at] indiebeautynetwork [dot] com. She is by my side and knows my every move!

Spohia and all~
When you're ready to trash the trash bag-o-wigs, let me know! I have clippers and I will travel. Bald IS beautiful, baby.

dM: I've got that covered. I have a whole trash bag full of them. I call it my bag-o-wigs. :)

Sophia: LOL on pinning down your wig, especially since you said it to someone who is completely bald by choice. Charlon is a maverick so make sure you get some extra wig pins. As for me, I'm sorry, but your wig will be falling off so you'd better stock up and always travel with at least two extras in your purse!

Seriously, Darryl and I are excited to work with you!
