Enjoy Your Life! Build Your Business! Have Your Way!

1. Gratitude. Be grateful for where you are right now. Be grateful for the food on your table, your relationships, your current financial situation, your family, and for all blessings in your life. Say "thank you" more often. We all have the ability to be a channel through which all blessings flow to one another. Make a "Gratitude" journal and write in it every day. Gratitude opens up the world, and life doesn't seem so "limited" anymore. When things don't feel so great, break out your "Gratitude Journal" and read through it. You'll find that you have a lot to be thankful for.

2. Desire. Have a strong "desire" to create the life you want. Desire is a powerful driving force in making changes, overcoming obstacles and achieving goals. Pay attention to your "dreams" and fill yourself with desire to have them. Desire can move mountains.

3. Faith. Have faith in your spiritual source, from where all prosperity comes from. It doesn't matter what name you give it - God, the Divine, higher power, etc. Have faith that your spiritual power wants you to be prosperous in all areas of your life. Open yourself up through your faith to be a channel of receiving prosperity.

4. Self-Confidence. No one talks more to yourself than you do. We constantly have "negative self-chatter." How many times have you said "I can't do this", or "I'll never do this?" You have to believe in yourself first, in order for others to believe in you. Yes, a whole lot of people love you in your life, but, if you don't love "you", then you will find ways to sabotage your success. Work on creating the self-esteem you deserve.

5. Clear Limiting Beliefs. We all have them, whether we admit it or not. "I'll never be rich." "I've made too many mistakes." "I'm not good with money." "I've made poor decisions before, therefore....." Yes, these ones. Start working on identifying your limiting beliefs. That's the first step. If you have to meditate, read prosperity books, talk with a counselor or close friend, start the search for "why" you have held yourself back. Start taking action, by using affirmations. Listen to affirming audios and start writing positive affirmations. Read self-improvement books; attend self-improvement groups. Start making the changes that will allow yourself a successful life.

6. Visualization. Visualize your perfect life. Visualize the perfect home, car, material things, love interest, family, vacations, career, freedom, travel - whatever it is you want. Bring your desires into your conscious and subconscious mind. Allow yourself to see clearly what you want, so you will see the goal. Not only visualize this, but "feel" it too. Let yourself "feel" what it's like to have that beautiful home, drive that beautiful car, and have that perfect career. Be specific, and breathe in deeply, every time "fear" creeps up and tells you that you don't deserve this. Of course, you deserve this! Visualizing is a key method in believing in yourself.

7. Take Action. Yes, this requires you actually having to plan, organize, overcome fear, and start taking the steps to achieve your desires. One small step, leads to a bigger step, and even larger leap. Start getting out of your comfort zone (where you've been), and take the risk to get where you want to go. In the performing arts, the hardest part is "showing up" for the audition. Start showing up for yourself.

8. Persistence. It's not always the most talented that gets the job; it's the person who doesn't give up. Don't give up on yourself. You're the only one that can make it happen for yourself. Have the attitude, one down, next one to go, when you feel rejected. The Universe is unlimited, and there are unlimited opportunities. If you let the first few rejections get you down, and quit, then, you'll be stuck where you're at. If you have to change course, then do something different. But, keep the flow of energy moving in the right direction.

9. Education. We're not talking about "formal education" here. We're talking about acquiring the knowledge it takes for you to become successful. Make it a game to acquire knowledge from books, teleseminars, groups, the Internet, coaching programs, where ever you can. Knowledge = power. Allow yourself to be powerful.

10. Mastermind. Get in a group of like-minded people that can help elevate yourself to where you need to be. Yes, that take a bit of work to find the right people, right group, but someone has always been where you are now. Someone has overcome similar obstacles, or is right where you are and can share invaluable knowledge with you.

Thanks Yolanda. Yeah, it's a pretty intense thing to realize that we can hold ourselves back. It also comes with that "I could have had a V8 " moment too! Like - wait a minute - you mean, I could have had that all along? Yeah, we're only human, and life's a journey.

Thanks for sharing. I learned a year ago that I (me) was the biggest thing holding me back.
