Over the past few months as the VP of Product Development for Kevin Harrington from the hit ABC show Shark Tank, I have seen literally hundreds of interesting and often really amazing products. The great
ideas arrive here daily...but deciding which ones are the most
appropriate for infomercials. What am I looking for?
- Products that have a "wow" factor and are truly unique
- Pricing is important - for a 2 min infomercial the price needs to be 19.99 or…

INDEPENDENT SALES REPS OR IN-HOUSE SALES EMPLOYEES – which are most effective??
Deciding between hiring independent sales representatives and in-house sales people can be a difficult decision to make. On one hand, bringing on
independent reps is a free way to get the sales cycle started. You
have no financial commitments, no salaries, no benefits…

As I get ready for my trip to NYC for Toy Fair this weekend, I am reminded of the many things I have to do before I head out. Granted, I am not exhibiting but walking the show…and spending a lot of time in
the booth of Brainy Baby who I represent their great products to the

Hi Jim,
I love reading all of your comments! You are a wealth of information!!
I am nervous just posting here!
I have had a desire to open an online retail store for years! I have finally started to really get going! However, I'm at a nervouse stage! My goal is to open an online retail that focuses on providing nothing but the best in quality and ingredients of Naturally made bath and body products! Which is why I LOVE this site so much.
I am just not sure how to go about reaching out to businesses as a start-up and become a great wholesale customer. I'm a start up and not sure what I should be looking for in ordering minimums and terms, and what to ask and how to ask the wholesaler about their products. I have read many of the comments here and want to make sure I start out the right way!

I look forward to learning all the valuable information you offer and share.
