Music To Soap By - Lenka

It's a creative day ahead for me and I'm in aqua and grey for it. It's been a crazy weekend... full of surprises, set backs and sagas.

On loop and blaring outta the workshop today, is this one by Lenka. I just can't stop shouting out the chorus as I'm finalizing the master batches for the new seasonal line. Cooler mornings, and cooler evenings. Guess fall is… Continue

Fearless Friday: That Darned Mattahorn

Do I like new things? I don't know.

I like presents. Those are new, aren't they? I love the way they arrive all kinda spangly and patterned in their wrap. I love seeing my name on the gift tag. It's great knowing they're from loved ones, brought to me with great thought and care.  Yes, I like presents.

I don't like new cities. I take those in small slices. I like to know where I am. I don't like to wander too far down streets I don't know, always needing to know where the…

I'm always clicking the business tips links that I find on Twitter, and here's one that is great for those Indies who are just starting out. Although I think there's more than a few that apply no matter how long you've been in business.

Hi Susan, yes Im only a community member at the moment, just wanting to see what it will be like for me as it seems there are lots of people from America, not the UK?  not that that is a problem its just that links for me might not be much use.  Anyway, Im looking forward to finding out.

Hi Susan, thanks for the tips, I have tried using comfrey and burdock and did not care for the green, the parsley sounds great as does the tumeric I will give it a try!

One more thing, why do you gel? The appearance?

Hi Susan,

so good to hear from you! I get my color ideas from Nature. Although I still am timid with using natural colorants, because I love to use natural ingredients. I'm just not happy with how they morph. I like your idea about vases, never thought of that as an inspiration! I'll have to try that one. Have a great weekend!

Hi Susan, thanks for the warm welcome! I've known about this place for a long time but got so busy with business and life that I never really got into it. I recently spoke with another member about some photography and thought it was high time to see about getting involved. I've been making bath and body since 2005 so I have a few years under my belt and lots of great negative experience to share, haha! Some positive too, of course  ;o)
