I would like to take a moment and thank everyone for their support while I take a break from my business and deal with my recent cancer diagnosis.

It's been a journey so far and I'm almost halfway through the treatments. In keeping with my Indie spirit I made a to-do list of the things I wanted to accomplish while I took the time off from my day job. Update our Business plan, update graphics, build a new web site, etc. I found out that cancer has its own plans for me.

I am journaling my way through this on a web site called Caring Bridge. You can read my posts there. I will update my status when I post there.

I have found a new strength in myself that I believe will carry over into our business once this is past me.

A Bum Deal...

Today was my last radiation treatment. I will still be dealing with the side effects for about another week. It has been a very difficult journey. I had to go on Fentanyl patches for pain last week. I will be on those for at least another week…

I haven't been posting as often as I'd like, but I have been taking a pain medication. It difficult sometimes to form complete thoughts. My head is a little clearer today. I only took half my dose of pain meds so I could post.…

We only make glycerin soaps so hopefully that type of hazmat posting will not be required. We totally understand how the business can take over an entire floor of your home - passion and determination have helped us get through the stumped toes and bruised knees.
