Decisions, decisions

Finding the balance between offering the very BEST, and being able to afford the products we offer has been a challenge since day one. I suspect it is for everyone who is producing a product, or selling a product.

I know my experience is that every time I cut corners, that I make a decision based on price alone, I have lived to regret it.

But...there's the economy. But I've found this absolutely STUNNING specimen of an oil that I always thought was boring. But I'm… Continue

MRSA and Gratitude

Shared a story that we participated in on one of the newsgroups this week, and thought it might be appropriate to share here.

We offer a suite of products laboratory tested and proven to kill MRSA bacteria. And we have lots of anecdotal evidence from people who have used it. This is my favorite:

The story was shared by the Nurse Aromatherapist who first urged me to develop the products. She had a patient, a young woman, six months pregnant, who developed MRSA on her inner… Continue

Greetings and Welcome to Indie Beauty!

This is a late welcome message, but I mean it! How are you Marge!!??

As our friend and special guest, we are delighted to have you here at our online gathering place. (Or, if you are a member of the Indie Beauty Network, then this is your public online home, so don't forget to click on "IBN Private!" above to connect with other professional IBN members!) There are lots of fun and exciting things to do and people to meet. Here are a few suggestions to get you started.

- If you have not already done so, please add your photo and your real first and last names to your Profile Page. We mean business here at Indie Beauty and we want to know who we're doing business with! To help us connect and do business, please do not use a product photo for the picture of you in your Profile Page.

- Check out the IBN Member Branded Company Pages where you can learn all about IBN members and the products and services they offer. If you see something you like or have questions about a product, a service or a class you'd like to take, send a message to introduce yourself!

- Enjoy some informative blog posts and add your thoughts, questions and comments.

- Check out the most recent recorded version of Indie Cafe and the chat stream that goes along with it. You're welcome to join us LIVE at Indie Cafe (most) Monday nights at 10:00pm EST for a time of uplift and empowerment that gets the week off to a great start!

- Enjoy some of the entertaining videos that IBN members have posted to inform you about the fantastic things they are doing in their lives and their businesses.

- Please take a look at our site Terms of Use which helps us present a uniform and professional place for you to network. And feel free to read our About Page to learn more about the Indie Beauty Network, how it got started, what it's mission is and how IBN and its members can serve you!

- And last but not least, if you like it here, please tell a friend by clicking the phrase under the link to the right that says: "Are You Having Fun??!" This will open up your Twitter page so you can share the fun with people you know.

Oh! And if you're on Twitter, I'd like to connect with you there so please follow me and I'll follow you back!

Warm up, make some friends, connect and collaborate!

On behalf of the hundreds of members of the Indie Beauty Network, I want you to know that we are glad you are here. Please do not hesitate to call on me or any IBN member to let us know how we can serve you.

Indie Love,

Another year? I ended the last with a doozy of a flu . . . got complicated and I am not supposed to be at work yet. Yes, dear, I am leaving soon to get more rest. Did we ever think our lives would become so complex and our world so utterly crazy? I'm going to garden more this year, and swim! Soon as this snow goes away. Hoping you're enjoying life . . . yes; let's do find time to catch up. Love and Kisses.
