Hello Indie Biz folks!
Thanks for the the warm welcomes and I'm very grateful to be here. Many of you have asked about what it takes to get your brands export ready. Please be assured I have seen your emails and posts. I'm going to speak to Donna Marie about creating a workshop where I can discuss this topic and field all your questions.
For starters though, I definitely look for a product that is ALL natural, non-toxic, and contains as much organics as possible. I have a niche exporting business and we manage only natural and organic products. Secondly, the packaging is very important. Important is not synonymous with expensive; packaging just needs to be crisp, professional, and have a cohesive feel. Sometimes this is done with simplistic packaging; sometimes this is done with expensive packaging.
These were just a few quick pointers I wanted to leave. Currently, it is a very limited list of new products I'm looking for to export. Natural and organic shampoo & conditioner, liquid hand soap, and perfume are the only new products I'm currently adding. I hope I will get a chance to interact with you all a little more in the months to come. With all the holidays approaching it may take a little longer for me to check back to this website but I will do my best.
