First of all, I'm excited for you that you would like to move forward with protecting your brand. My general process work likes this: we have a conversation over email or by phone to help determine the best route of filing depending on the needs of your business. I can also give you some background information at that time, depending on your knowledge of trademarks in general. I do research to ensure the strength of the fiing, and I'll let you know if I see any red flags before filing. Then I file the paperwork and handle the application as it moves through the examination process until registration is finalized.
My rates depend somewhat on your needs (I lower the price per mark if multiple filings are necessary), but I do charge a flat rate for my services so there are no surprises. I also give a 15% discount to IBN members. I never want cost to prevent a small business owner from this process, and all my clients are small business owners.
I would be available to talk this week if you'd like to give me a call; let me know what time works best for you and we can go from there!
