I agree with Hanna and will add that figuring out what I want is also very helpful.  I find many well intentioned people tell me what I should be doing with my business. (Mind you, none of these people have their own business)  I always listen and sometimes feel conflicted.  Maybe I should do this or that.  I've decided to trust that what I want and how I want to do things is what's best for me.  I will still listen to advice, sometimes I have been given very helpful ideas, but I will go back to my (now written down!) business plan of what I want, and act accordingly.  Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to downloading part 2 when you have it ready.

I really enjoyed the podcast dM, it has really helped me think about the key issues to focus on.  Especially helpful was when you mentioned that one of the biggest mistakes newbies make is to try to do everything, since that is exactly what I was doing.  Also, I liked when you mentioned how one of the most successful strategies is to "systematize" everything.  This is something I'm in the process of implementing and I think it will help a lot to stay focused.  Thank you for your inspiration!

So glad you got it. We covered a lot of information so I'm glad you mentioned having tea as you take it all in. Relax into what you want your life to be like as you absorb the ideas, suggestions and conversation. It really is about knowing what you want first and foremost, as you know! Sorry Donna, I should have posted that I was able to download the next day. I don't know what happened, but I have it now and was able to listen to part of it today. I was listening at work and decided I needed to fully concentrate on it and do the work sheet while I was listening.  I'm hoping to find time Tomorrow or Wednesday afternoon to sit with a cup of tea, a pencil and delve in.

Angela,

I'm not having a problem, and I have not heard that anyone else is? Are you getting an error message after you click the MP3 link?

It can load at different speeds depending on where you are and Internet times.

I often have more luck with Chrome than I do with Firefox when it comes to streaming audio.

Try a different browser.

If you still have trouble, email me and I'll see if I can troubleshoot more.

LaChauna - please email me at indiebusiness [at] gmail [dot] com to let me know what error message you are getting.  I do not see your name listed on my Protege List, but perhaps you are using another name?

If you are a Protege, you should be able to access the page by logging in with the email sent to you (and all Proteges) using the username and password combination in the email. If you got the email and tried the login, gut it's not working, please email me and let me know exactly what error you are getting, and I will help you!

Thrilled that you enjoyed Embracing Your Entrepreneurial Mindset! The next one is September 6: How To Use Direct Mail To Boost Your Holiday Sales. Remember, all IBN members have access to Indie Protege calls as an added member benefit!

To make sure people have notice of calls in a timely manner, I have decided that, starting today, I will send out a weekly Events Calendar update that will include not only my events, but also events being hosted by other IBN members.

To make sure you receive these, you'll want to double check your settings. To do this, just follow these steps when you are logged into the site:

1. Go to Settings (upper right column)

2. Click Email

3. Make sure the box next to Email From Indie Business Social Network is checked. (You can check and uncheck other things too as you can see.)

4. Scroll to the bottom and save your settings

I have more great things coming, so stay tuned!
