I am curious how everyone is sanitizing their equipment, containers and work area?
I use 190 or 200 proof alcohol. The great part about using alcohol, it dries quickly and kills microbes. It can be expensive purchasing 190 or 200 proof alcohol because of the liquor taxes. Recently, I've switched to denatured alcohol. In the past, I didn't want to use denatured alcohol as it is denatured with poisonous chemicals such as methanol, acetone, isopropyl alcohol, denatonium, methyl ethyl ketone and methyl isobutyl ketone. Now available is denatured alcohol; denatured with lavender essential oil. Denatured lavender alcohol costs about 25% less than undenatured alcohol.

Thanks Joan for the suggestion of denatured with lavender essential oil. I have some already and it would be a lot cheaper than the high proof that I have been using. Now I can keep the high proof for just my tintures that I make.
