Question of the Week: What is your best selling product for the holiday season?

Hi Everyone!

I hope you had a great weekend! The air is crisper and the sun is setting earlier, reminding all of us that the holidays are just around the corner.

It's time to get our end of the year rear in gear!!

What is your best selling holiday product?

For those of you who customize individual items like jewelry or clothing, what sells best during the holidays?

For those offering services, what kind of end of the year/new year coaching and business services are the most popular as we head into the holidays and new year?

Oh! And feel free to share the link where we can buy your most popular item -- please just choose one so everyone has a chance to share.

I can't wait to learn what fabulous things are coming up over the next few months!

Have a great week!

Hi Donna,
Our best seller for Holiday is our Complete Skin Care Kit. Priced at only $24.99 it comes in it's own little gift box and contains 3 of our most popular products. 100% natural and organic, it's teaches girls how to take great care of their skin with safe ingredients moms approve.
Totally green it makes a great gift for the savvy skin care newbie and that hard to buy for tween.

I have 3 items that sell very, very well. Part of the secret is a low price point, $10 to $15 and we use our sales speel to point out they are perfect for co-workers, yankee swaps neighbors, etc at a reasonable price. I purchase jeweled organza beaded bags or other festive holidays bags "Papermart" and I put a lipbalm, guest size soap, and a 2 oz lotion, the cost is $10.00 and they really sell, another is a slotted soapdish with a washcloth, bar of soap all wraped up in cello with a ribon for $15.00 and this is a great seller, Christmas Tree roomspray - a custmer asked for this at a show and it has never occurred to me. I made up 10 of them with Mistletoe fragrance for my next show, spritzed the area around my booth every so often or when I saw a group of people coming and it was amazing, most people stopped and I sold out in about an hour and a half, needless to say I brought several dozen to my next show.

Deb:

Wow! These are such great ideas. Thank you for sharing them. I love the notion of a jeweled organza beaded bag. How festive and a sweet memory for the recipient. Awesome job on the mistletoe fragrance too -- bet that smelled good. Now that the frosts are coming, the sales of that can only go up up up! Happy for you!

DM,
Things that are selling hot right now at PearlcreekGoat Milk Soap are: a ginger-vanilla-pear soap, a honey-poppy seed and pomegranate soap, and a soap we call Dashing Thru the Snow (The soaps are at a reasonable price of$4.50, so we can usually get people to try at least that.) Also sellng in a big way are our Men's Products (who knew the fellas would enjoy the pampering that much???) We've been selling a lot of our shaving butter and brush sets ($12.95), "men's" shampoos and "men's' soaps in fragrances like : Frontier Cowboy, Pirate Lord and Highlander Hottie.

I am planning to expand my men's line again with a scent inspired by the Armed Forces (because I have a cousin and a brother-in-law both in the military as well as a father, step father-in-law and many grandfathers who also served) and also several "holiday" scents as well.
My sugar scrubs are my best sellers all year round. This year I did a pomegranate and cassis and a peppermint vanilla for Fall and Winter. Both scents are selling very well so far. I am pairing them with an Autumn soap (pomegranate and cassis) and my chocolate mint soap (peppermint vanilla) all tucked away in a chocolate colored organza bag for gift-giving.
It depends...
Have they been Naughty or Nice?

Naughty eye shadow
is a near black shimmer with rainbow micro-glitter

Nice eye shadow
is a pale beige shimmer with gold micro-glitter

I also am working on a lump of char-coal color.
Hard to say at this point, but have been getting a lot of action on my PureBliss travel set: great for the guys and also women who travel a lot.

I'm doing festive holiday soaps and mix and match. My holiday efforts this year will be 4 spa parties, and normally I'll sell out of soaps, goat creme, skin care sampler sets. I throw in gift packaging in a "wrap bar" so they get fun wrapping with the gifts...was wildly popular last year.
