question about glitter
Hi all! i have an odd question, does anyone know if you can use any kind of glitter in body care products ( not eyeshadow or lipstick)? I want to use some on soaps and such but didn't know if i can use glitter i find at the craft store. Thanks!

Courtney,
You need to use a glitter that is body safe, such as cosmetic glitter. This is not necessarily glitter suitable for eyes or lips but use on the body. Regular craft glitter is not recommended because its not cut fine enough and can be scratchy to the skin.

Micro fine glitter can be found at mineral makeup suppliers like TKB trading and The Conservatorie. You should only use cosmetics glitter as they are approved for body use but not necessarily for eyes.
