Enjoy Your Life! Build Your Business! Have Your Way!

I am looking for a website that has free pictures for me to use for my labels, but I'm having difficulties finding one that doesn't cost more than a hundred dollars for credits. Maybe someone could design something for a resonable cost. I want to use it everywhere my name is at, like business cards, boxes, containers for products, business sign, etc. I think something that might have simple flowers or to do with water. If anyone has any thoughts it would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Try http://www.fotolia.com You can buy credits for $24 (minimum) and the photos cost as little as $1 each.
I have used fotolia also for images, both jpgs and vectors, and they are very reasonable with good resolution and a nice search system.
Thank you so much, I'll definately check it out.
Here is another one, I've used this website before and it works well.

http://www.istockphoto.com/index.php
Kim, Thanks for that website...I really like both of them a lot. I'm wondering what size to purchase because I'm guessing it will probably get distorted a bit if I need the picture bigger or smaller and I choose the wrong size.
Try iStockPhoto.com. They have royalty-free images and illustrations where you purchase through points at reasonable prices depending on how you're using it (low resolution for websites, high resolution images for printing). Usually sites that offer 'free' pictures aren't that very good.

Best of luck!

Thanks Giselle, I'll take a look at that website. I don't want to spend a lot of money since I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing yet. I suppose I wont make any sales if I don't try and put labels on my products so I should try something.
Hi, Kristina~

As a handmade beauty insider, seed member of Indie Beauty 10 years ago, and an online marketer, I can tell you from experience that your brand is crucial for the life of your business. Essentially, you are branding YOU! This is not to be taken lightly or rushed. I understand the tendency, but in the long run (which I hope is your plan!) you will be well-served to invest time, energy and sufficient monies to ensure your logo is professional and accurately captures the essence of your business and the vision you have for it.

If you have design expertise and business acumen, managing this yourself is doable. Without them, I highly recommend hiring pros whose skills and talent will serve you well long after you've paid the invoice for your unique logo and label designs.

Here are some samples to give you an idea of the possibilities: http://www.editcopyproof.com/ecp_designs_portfolio.html

Blessings,
Charlon, Thank you for the ideas! I know there's many options out there and it's great to talk to people who have the knowledge and the experience. It's definately not something to jump into so I'm just trying things and seeing what I like best before I start labeling my products. My goal is to start selling my products at my town craft fair we have in the fall so I have some time, but it would be nice to sell a few things before then. Thanks again for the reply!
You are so welcome: it takes a village to grow a business!
Kristina,

All of the suggestions here are so great! I have tried iStockphoto and Fotolia and I like them both. I think I probably prefer Fotolia. Another option is http://www.123rf.com, but only with the caveat that I would only use their images for non-product label related stuff like blog posts and such.

... and Charlon is great!

Good luck,

dM
