Soy Candlemaking with YumYum Candle

Candle-making is a popular craft that people have enjoyed for centuries.  It’s fun, it’s creative and costs relatively little to get started.  This introductory, soy candle-making class will provide a great foundation for the start of a new hobby or new business!

Through demonstration and hands-on participation, attendees will learn the following fundamentals of candle-making while making their very own candle:

• Safety
• Industry Standards
• Equipment and supplies
• Terminology and principles
• Types of Wax
• Container considerations
• Wicking
• Fragrances

**Each attendee will need to bring an 8 oz. glass, Pyrex measuring cup with spout.  A scale for is optional as one will be provided to be shared among attendees. **

Special Notes: A $15 materials fee is due in cash to the class instructor before class.
