We are thrilled to announce a NEW 3-day Boot Camp taught by Alice Duvernell. Alice has been teaching at The Nova Studio for over 2 years and has developed quite a following with her wonderful herb-based classes. We thought it would be a great idea to put them all together into a consecutive three day herbal product making extravaganza! Details of what will be covered and pictures for each class can be found directly below (scroll down). Here is a breakdown of the anticipated schedule:
Day 1: Friday
9:00 am – 9:30 am: Orientation & Introductions
9:30 am – 12:30 pm: Herbal Extracts: 3 Types
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch Break (on your own)
1:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Handmade Hydrosols
Day 2: Saturday
9:00 am – 12:30 pm: Nourishing Facial Creams
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch Break (on your own)
1:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Luxury Facial Serums
Day 3: Sunday
9:00 am – 12:30 pm: Healing Balms & Salves (for face & body)
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch Break (on your own)
1:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Fresh Facial Masks & Exfoliants
4:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Boot Camp Wrap Up (Certificates, Feedback Forms, Goodbyes)
Other than the $145 materials fee which is to be paid with cash or check on the first day of class, you don't need to bring anything with you - we supply everything you need! You will go home with handouts for each class, recipes, directions, and a bunch of finished products (for details on exactly what, see below). Boot camp students will also receive special extras including a 3-ring class binder and a personalized certificate of completion for the series.
This intensive is ideal for out-of-town students or those who live near by who would rather take as many classes as they can in a short period of time. This workshop is limited to 14 students and must be purchased as a series. Our boot camps usually fill up well in advance - so sign-up today.
Class Fee: $445 (plus $145 materials fee)
