Advanced Lotion Class at Otion

Description: Have you mastered the basics of lotion making and you're ready to take it to the next level? In this Advanced Lotion Making class, we'll go over how to design your own recipe from scratch using percentages, test several emulsion systems and briefly cover ingredients (cosmeceuticals) to turn your lotion into an anti-acne or anti-aging product. Finally, we'll discuss the rules the FDA sets on making claims about your lotion or crème.

Advanced Lotion Making will be taught by Anne-Marie Faiola. Limited to 8 students.

Cost: $35 - includes all materials to make a variety of crémes and lotions

• Two (2) - 32 oz. Pyrex or heat safe glass containers
