Beauty Recipe Of The Week: An Incredible Clay Mask
An
Incredible Clay Mask is -- well -- an "incredible" mask! The

3. Beauty & The Business Trivia
Question: last week's
winner was Fern Robinson, a Lifestyle CEO from Washington, DC. Fern won a Lifestyle CEO
consultation with me! Fern was so excited that she immediately took
advantage of her prize. Fern is a freelance writer, scrumptious carrot cake
baker and mom. I first met Fern in 1986 when she wandered into Maria Grace
Aromatherapy Shop in Takoma Park. (I owned and managed the shop from 1983 to
1988.) Fern became a loyal customer over the years, always stopping by
to sniff and visit and buy some massage oil. Today, Fern offers writing
workshops and writes a column for the Science Of Mind magazine. Her articles
have appeared in several popular magazines and a few years ago, she had an
exciting gig working as an assistant on the Iyanla Vanzant Show. After her Lifestyle CEO
consultation, Fern said: "Talking
with dM enabled me to see things in a different way. Her suggestions about
one aspect in particular of my carrot cake baking business were masterful,
and she included so many wonderful ideas I never thought of. Now I have a
blueprint to help me organize my life." We
concluded our conversation with my order for two carrot cakes! It was great
fun! Good luck Fern!!
Last Week's Question: Mattie Stepanek had two middle names. To win this week, state what they are. (If you don't know who Mattie Stepanek was, click here to enjoy the story of a remarkable young man.)
Last Week's Answer: Joseph Thaddeus
This Week's Question: Recently, an influential consulting firm published a study exhorting American corporations to increase hiring outside the country or risk "extinction." A new term of art has sprung up as a shorthand way of identifying countries where labor is outsourced by American corporations who are following their advice. To win this week, state term used to describe these countries.
Be the first to correctly answer this week's questions and win a 1/2 hour Lifestyle CEO consultation with me! (I enjoyed helping last week's winner so much, I can't wait to talk to this week's winner!)
Please read the contest rules here before submitting your entry. Put "TRIVIA CONTEST ANSWER" in the subject line or your answer will not be considered.
While time does not permit me to respond personally to all entrants, the winner's name will be announced in the next newsletter!

"Delicious"
... "Scrumptious" ... "ideal reference guide"

WOW! I know it's summer, and here in the DC area, it's really
hot and sticky. But despite the heat, I have found a gem of a
lotion that you will want to have on hand at the first hint of chill
in the air this fall. There's nothing like being prepared so make
sure your arsenal has some of this nice lotion. It's rich and smoothes
easily across my skin. While it's not greasy, it's oily enough so that I
can get a mini massage out of an application. I think it's great for
anyone with normal to dry skin. Each lotion is made with infusions of
calendula and chamomile flowers and hydrosols (plant waters) to complement
the essential oil blends.
The lotion comes in 4 scents, and "Divine" is my favorite. Made with lavender, geranium and ylang ylang essential oils, with a touch of vanilla, the aroma is divine indeed. Other scents include "Soothe" (lavender, chamomile, geranium, and clary sage) and "Refresh" (spearmint, peppermint, lime and patchouli). When I got a bottle of the "Divine" scent several months ago, I did not know about the "Inspiration" aroma. If I had, I would have gotten some of that since it contains a blend I'm sure I would adore: orange, grapefruit, patchouli, and ginger. What a super sounding combination!
You can get your own Divine Refreshment and
Soothing Inspiration from HBN member Dropwise
Essentials, where Donya Fahmy makes lots of other goodies in the same
scent combinations like bath salts, body oil and misters. You will love
the website which is very organized and features each product nicely
photographed so you can see exactly what you'll get in advance. The
shopping cart is easy to use and the "Aroma Zone" department
features some well written articles about the topic of aromatherapy.
