4. THIS WEEK'S RECIPE -- COOL OATS CLEANSER

A few weeks ago, I found my face feeling unusually dull and lifeless, even for mid-winter. I usually keep a fresh carton of whipping cream in the fridge so I can treat myself to a refreshing cleaning, but on this day, I was fresh out of cream. All I could find was a bit of Cool Whip that my girlfriend left behind during her last visit to my home. When life gives you Cool Whip, make Cool Oats Cleanser. Though I much prefer real whipping cream, this served the purpose in an "emergency" moment.

Cool Oats Cleanser

1/4 cup Cool Whip whipped topping
1 Tablespoon finely powdered oats
1 Tablespoon finely ground almonds
1 Tablespoon distilled water or rose hydrosol
1 drop geranium OR lavender essential oil (or one drop of a lavender/geranium blend)

Combine all ingredients and stir well to incorporate. If mixture is too thick, add a bit more water. If too thin, add more oats. Massage gently over surface of dampened face and neck skin, avoiding eye area. Rinse with warm water. Pat away excess moisture and follow with toner & moisturizer.

5. SITE SURFING - SITES TO HELP YOU GROW YOUR BUSINESS

A great site for inspirational business tips-http://www.inc.com/dailytip/. The daily tip for February 26 highlighted the concept of starting a "Something Of The Month Club" for your customers. According to the author of the article, "Community Clubs For Everyone," monthly club sales allow businesses to predict customer demands, which in turn helps spread marketing costs and increase cash flow. Companies that have successfully implemented monthly clubs include Starbucks (coffee) and Calyx & Corolla (flowers). Something to consider ... would a Soap, Lotion or Essential Oil Of The Month Club work for you?

Have A Great Week!!
