4. HANDMADE TOILETRIES PRODUCT REVIEWS

--->Medieval Toadstool Farm Handmade Soap, 6 ounce bar, $7.00<--- I just couldn't resist buying a soap made by a company with "Toadstool" in the name.  I chose their WiseWoman Bar because I liked the light scent ... sort of earthy with a natural "oatmeal/honey" type aroma.  The bar is a pretty brown color with flecks of herbs for exfoliant qualities, and is packaged in a simple sleeve.  Though I liked the way the soap felt on my skin -- especially the gentle "scrubbing" effect -- I thought it was a bit overpriced, and the label, which doesn't state all of the ingredients, lists an ingredient called "Rosewater Oil."  I'm not sure where this product is available outside the DC area.  My quick search on the Internet revealed nothing, but you may have more luck.  Midieval Toadstool Farm, Sherman Oaks, CA.

--->Wild Sage Botanicals Almond Face Cleanser, 2 ounces $6.95<--- I have always loved the feeling of softly textured natural "scrub-type" ingredients sliding across my face and neck.  The problem is that many times, these products tug and pull, making them unsuitable for use on delicate facial skin.  But Wild Sage Botanicals Almond Face Cleanser is different.  With jojoba meal, almonds, sesame, Irish moss and other natural goodies, it has a gentle exfoliating effect and a pleasant "slip" when mixed with water which makes for easy application.  The smell is earthy/almond, as you might expect.  Almond Face Cleanser rinses off well without leaving a drying effect.  I would purchase this product!  Wildsageskincare.com.
